The Association runs a series of lectures aimed at new or would-be beekeepers (but of interest to everybody) in early spring.
In season, volunteers work at the Crathes apiary on Sundays between 10:00 am and 12:00 am. Please always contact Naomi Adams, the Crathes apiary manager, before visiting the apiary.
Apiary Demonstration – Winter preparations
Sunday, 30 August
To comply with Covid restrictions, we will run the demonstration in two sessions of 15 participants each starting 10:30 and 13:30
For more information, and to book a place, visit Eventbrite.
Please do not turn up unannounced.
We have taken the decision to cancel all Aberdeen & District Beekeepers’ events until further notice, in line with government advice.
Once we have further news we will post here and on Facebook, and send an email to all our members.
Remember, your bees are livestock. Don’t let them go hungry. Bee health inspections are considered essential activity by the Scottish Government – but please follow Public Health guidance on social distancing. For more information, please see Government guidelines for beekeepers – here -.
