Meet the ADBKA Committee members

I completed the ADBKA series of lectures at the end of 2013 and then joined ADBKA at the start of 2014.  I purchased our first colony in May 2014.  I am still on a massive learning curve.

I hold the S.B.A. Basic Bee Master Certificate and will continue to go down the route of improving my knowledge and gaining more qualifications in the future.

I come from a logistical and sales background and I am a bit of an organiser at heart.  I have recently taken on the role of management of the stock for feed supplies to the association members.

I have always been interested in the environment and the outdoors and have a large garden which I enjoy spending time in.  I like to make bees wax candles and lip balms. I also enjoy making jams, chutneys and marmalade.  I am keen to support this year’s Scottish Beekeepers Association’s display at the Highland show in Edinburgh, so look out for my requests for honey and show material in the near future.
